History

This is one of the oldest Departments in the University. It was found by Academician and the Vice President of the USSR Academy of Sciences A.A.Baikov. The Department was directed by Professor P.T.Danilchenko from 1931. The school of Crimean chemists was developing for 30 years under his leadership. Today the Department is directed by Professor V.F.Shulgin.
