Graduates specialise in: economic cybernetics, environmental economics modelling, transactions study techniques, economic modelling, corporate information systems, forecasting techniques, economic information processing, and information systems in government. Graduates can work in the fields of economy, computer and mathematical modelling, and new information technologies. They are able to work as both economists and programmers. They work in various industrial companies, organisations, banks and governmental agencies of various levels
Areas of Research

Integral simulation model of the economy in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea; macromodels for environmentally safe location and operation of enterprises; territorial and sectoral models of recreation systems; models of budget making and distribution; sectoral models of agricultural production with water supply systems; models of foreign economic relations with the EU countries; models of foreign economic relations with the Middle East countries; information support of tourist industry.
The Department offers postgraduate programs in economic processes and systems modelling.

Academic and Educational Relations

are maintained with the Universities of Minnessota (the United States), Nice and Perpignan (France), Warsaw (Poland), Moscow and St. Petersburg (Russia).
