Profile of Specialists
Speciality - Physics; Specialisation - Physics of Mag­netic Phenomena; Qualification - Bachelor of Physics, Specialist in Physics, Teacher of Physics”, “ Master of Physics, Teacher of Physics”.

Graduates are specialists in physics of magnetic phenomena and may engage in research and practical work with the use of modern magnetic materials, magnetic metering installations and modern computer technology. Furthermore, students obtain relevant psychological and pedagogical skills.
 Speciality - Applied  Physics;   Specialisation - High Physical Technologies; Qualification - Bachelor of  applied physics, Specialist of applied physics, Master of  applied physics.

Graduates are trained to work in the following areas of applied physics: synthesis. research and application of modern sensor materials, creation of automated management systems used in process installations, environmental protection, medicine and criminalistics; development of technical devices and software for information protection.
Physics,  the  RAS  Institute  of General and
Educational   and   scientific   sections: a branch of the       Inorganic Chemistry, the Institute of Physics at Department in Domain Design Bureau. Physics of Magnetic Phenomena  the   RAS   Siberian   Division,   and   Szczecin 55 1 Section in the Research Institute of Geodynamics. University (Poland).   

Graduates are trained to work in the following areas of applied physics: synthesis. research and application of modern sensor materials, creation of automated management systems used in process installations, environmental protection, medicine and criminalistics; development of technical devices and software for information protection. Specialists are good at computer technique, modern software.
Educational and scientific departments: the department of physics of magnetic phenomena at  the Research Institute of Geodynamics, the department of fiber optics of TNU SRD (Scientific Research Department).

Areas of Research:
Physics of magnetic semi conductors, spin dynamics, electronic and nuclear-magnetic relaxation, development of theoretical basics of nuclear magnetic resonance – spectroscopy, electrodynamics of compositional materials. The Department offers post graduate and Doctoral programs.
Academic and educational relations:

are maintained with NASU Institute of Physics, the RAS Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, the Institute of Physics at the RAS Siberian Division and Szczecin University (Poland), Institute of Electronics, microelectronics and nanotechnologies (Lille, France), Institute of Fundamental electronics of Southern University (Paris, France).
