Scientific Work

Scientific researches of the department mostly concern mathematical models of decision making based on incomplete information; logical algorithms of artificial intelligence and intellectualization of information processing. The Department is an organizer of the conference on "Intellectualization of Information Processing" which is conducted every even year in collaboration with V.M.Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Computer Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (tvim.info). The department prepares postgraduate students on specialty 01.05.01 "Theoretical Foundations of Information and Cybernetics" and 01.05.02 “Mathematical simulation and methods of calculation”
